This web page was established to ease the request process for exceptions to our policy concerning reservation changes, however, our systems generally are not designed for travel flexibility.
Virtually every booking at Stevenswood carries a fairly strict set of restrictions, most likely being a NON REFUNDABLE & NON CHANGEABLE reservation, pursuant to the original terms of your booking.
Our extremely small scale dictates that we ask guests to honor their travel commitments whenever possible, but we do understand and empathize when "things happen".
In the hotel business, the worst possible outcome on any given night is EMPTY ROOMS.
A room night, is a block of rented space that once gone can never be recovered. It is the ultimate in a perishable commodity. We utilize a whole series of advertising and marketing approaches, including special promotions and limited offers, all of which feature low prices, high value and limited change or cancellation options.

Thank you for submitting your details concerning the request for an exception to our policy. A reservationist will review these particulars and contact you with additional information, questions or answers. We endeavor to respond within 72 hours, but also take the dates you've entered here into consideration. Cancellations can not be accommodated due to the nature of our bookings.
These options are not applicable to every booking, your particular reservation may carry specific and restrictive conditions that override these general options. Refer to your original booking arrangements for more details.
If the change request is for an arrival 10 days or less in the future, we can attempt to rerent the room, but statistically speaking this only happens in about 50% of the cases overall. There is an equal risk that the room will not be rented - in which case no refunds will be allowed, and any funds committed, vouchers applied, certificates used, coupons redeemed, etc are forfeited, plus a $ 25 processing fee. You can email for updates anytime and if not rerented you can always take back the reservation up until noon of the day of check in. This option works well for guests who prefer to change their dates, but can still make it if they need to versus loosing their funds already paid. The $ 100 change fee applies only if we ARE able to rerent the room night(s).
Be sure to cancel (or postpone) any ancillary services associated with your booking, such as picnics, dinner reservations, spa treatments, horseback rides, golf appointments, etc. (see below)
Any other conditions of a special voucher, certificate, prepaid credentials, etc will still apply, including but not limited to expiration dates, conditions on use, availability restrictions, eligibility of certain rooms, blackout periods, etc.
Any reservations for 3 or more rooms, special groups, custom packages, weddings and events carry their own unique terms which override these special arrangement outlined here.
You may have purchased TripProtection insurance, which possibly covers unexpected travel change penalties, for covered events. Some affinity and high-value cards, such American Express Platinum carry special coverage for travel protection. You may wish to pursue these options as well. Often penalties can be reimbursed by these protection plans.

If you have the following items booked, please send an email to the appropriate department(s) to advise them of your change in plans as well. Some services, such as spa treatments carry penalties for no shows, or late notices of changes/cancellations.
