Co-owners Michael Webster and Seth Kelman acquired Stevenswood Resort Spa in late 2004, and ever since, this premier property in Mendocino, California, has been a true labor of love for both of them. Together, they have worked tirelessly to transform the lodge into a world-class destination resort with a full-service luxury spa and an award-winning restaurant.

Prior to owning Stevenswood, they founded and operated Webster & Kelman Consultancy, which emphasized marketing and promotions, and focused research to the hospitality, automotive, and technology industries.

For over a decade, Webster and Kelman dreamed of owning their own hotel and implementing the principles they had developed during their 25 combined years of consulting. After researching and visiting properties in—among many other locations—New York, Vermont, France, Spain, Italy, the Caribbean, and all over California, they chose Stevenswood as their new home and business venture.

Today, Webster and Kelman continue as partners in business and in life. They have vowed to maintain the property’s five-star standards while continuing to update and upgrade all aspects of the resort, spa, and restaurant. Highest of priorities is the constant improvement of guest experiences.
