Excellent choice. Owners are very involved in day/day operations = attention to quality/detail. Restaurant on property – great food, attentive service, very satisfying wine selection. Rooms – spacious (far larger than I expected for the price), great amenities, even had an espresso maker. Scenery – property is heavily wooded, felt like you were in the middle of the North Coast woods (you are), and yet you can hear the surf crashing not far away. True Nor Cal experience. Great hot tubs, positioned under massive uplit sycamores – great way to end a day relaxing. Is on my short list of places to return for a longer stay. Surrounding area is small and quiet, yet with a three block by three block down town area three miles away with shops, restaurants, etc. – perfect for a quiet get-away.
