On Tuesday March 20, Stevenswood Spa Resort was honored with the prestigous 2007 Four Diamond Award from AAA. We are all very excited about achieving our 16th consecutive AAA Four Diamond Award. We were the first to achieve this prestigious award on the beautiful Mendocino Coast.

AAA evaluates and rates hotels and restaurants as a service to members, ensuring objective information and an ample selection. Approximately 32,000 hotels and 28,000 restaurants throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico are AAA approved and diamond rated.

When achieving a AAA Four Diamond Award properties are upscale in all areas. Accommodations are refined and stylish. The physical attributes reflect enhanced quality throughout. The fundamental hallmarks at this level include and extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service, and attention to detail.

AAA Four Diamond Award winners know the language of quality as they consistantly deliver a luxury experience, complete with a high level of service, amenities, and impressive surroundings. In 2007, a total of only 1,102 hotels and 757 restaurants received the AAA Four Diamond Award. AAA Four Diamond hotels and restaurants represent just 3 present of the 60,000 AAA approved and diamond rated properties.
