I recently took a family member for a weekend vacation at Stevenswood, and we were both delighted by the experience. This is a small, quaint, slightly rustic little place, nestled in the coastal woods of Northern California. The rooms are well-appointed, with all the amenities one might imagine, plus added local flair. The highlights of our room were the interesting paintings/prints on the walls – presumably by local artists – and the exquisitely comfortable bed. Our room also had a beautiful garden view, with the ocean off in the distance. The staff was friendly from start to finish, and the spa services were lovely. The restaurant was wonderful both for breakfast and for dinner. The service was fantastic and so was the food, definitely worth the price. We came for good food and wine and an atmosphere of total relaxation, and that is exactly what we got. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for the same.
