The quartet’s goal is to play great music from the four corners of the world on the guitar, which is the most popular instrument on the planet and can be found in nearly every global musical genre and is the instrument that speaks to all music cultures.
Their premiere recording, “Something Wondrous Fair” is being praised by audiences and critics alike. The music on their new recording spans several centuries of American roots and traditional folk music. Their current literature in their performances includes compositions by Bach, Handel, Scarlatti, Vivaldi, Hayden, Mozart, Salieri, Albeniz, Granados, Falla, Sibelius, Shostakovich and Piazzolla.
Their second recording, “Realizations”, is an all-Baroque album featuring newly works by John Sebastian Bach, George Frederic Handel, Antonio Vivaldi, Domenico Scarlatti, and Alessandro Paccinini. Like their first recording, this work has been embraced by critics and has received national airplay.
“A world class quartet…This is a fine recording… In the end, it is the joyousness, energy, and precision of the performance that convinces me that this group is one to hear.”
