Fall Hopland Passport Weekend
This years 2 day celebration will be held on Saturday & Sunday, October 19, 20, 2013 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. This year there will be 15 participating wineries that will be pouring their best wines with great food pairings at each winery, and they will be offering tours, with art and live music. This is a no miss for wine lovers.
This 2 full day event with the purchase of your ticket, you will receive a passport logo glass, entry to all wine tastings with food pairings and entertainment at all 15 wineries. Tickets for this event are $45 online or $55 at the event. The online store CLOSES on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at noon, so purchase your tickets early to get the discounted price.
Check-in: The event begins at 11:00 am on both October 19 & 20. You will pick up your passport, glass and wristband at any participating winery upon your arrival. Please bring proof of identity and online receipt. No tickets will be mailed to online buyers.
Designated Driver Program: To keep your group safe, sign up for the Designated Driver Program. Your driver will receive complimentary entry. The program requires zero alcohol consumption and will be strictly enforced but the driver is free to enjoy all winery events, food tastings and the drawing. Your Designated Driver wristband can be picked up at any participating wineries.
Transportation Options: Hopland wineries strongly encourage responsible wine tasting. If your group does not take advantage of our complimentary designated driver policy, please make arrangements through one of the following options to safely get you here and home. Historic downtown Hopland is just about a 30-minute drive north of Healdsburg. From San Francisco, drive up Highway 101 approximately 97 miles. You’ll know you’re in Mendocino County when the traffic thins and you feel your cares fading away. Be sure to heed the speed limit, Highway101 passes directly through Hopland. Posted limit 35 MPH. If you are coming from the North, take Highway 101 South. Hopland is approximately 15 miles south of Ukiah.
