Saturday & Sunday, July 27 – 28, 2013
The majority of the Anderson Valley wineries produce high end Pinot Noir. The Pinot Noir wine really tastes best before bottling time. By holding a barrel tasting in the summer, you will be able to enjoy and evaluate the wines in a nearly finished state. The advantage of this is because young wines will change dramatically during the aging process.
By participating in this first ever Anderson Valley Barrel Tasting, you will have an unprecendented access to winery cellars to taste yet to be released wines, and purchase futures of your favorite wines at a special barrel tasting weekend price
Participating wineries will feature previews of their new wines, from Zinfandel to Pinot Noir, along with current releases. You will receive a logoed glass and a wristband, which will give you access for this event on both Saturday and Sunday.
