This years featured artist is Judy Castleton. Her career began about 25 years ago making traditional quilts using Jenny Byer fabrics, because of the kaleidoscope effects she got from using them. She was exposed in 1999, when she went to Art Quilt Tahoe to more contemporary quilts which she has done ever since. She was inspired by using her own photographs for her quilts, but she still enjoys making traditional quilts now and then.
