Stevenswood was a nice change from so many of the overdone B&Bs in the area. The buildings are set back in the woods and super quiet. The rooms are spacious with Tempurpedic mattresses and nice linens on the beds, fireplaces, and very usable sitting areas. Baths are tiny but attractive. Inn staff work hard to take good care of guests.
If you have the schedule flexibility, look for last minutes specials that are a deal and make this place approachable for those of us who can’t pay standard rates but are able to splurge occasionally.
Be sure to make time (and a reservation) to eat dinner at the well-regarded in-house restaurant. Service can be a little pretentious, but food is superb.
