The Mendocino Brewing Company is internationally renowned as a brewer of full-flavored, traditional ales. The company was established in 1983 as California’s first brewbpub at Hopland and is recognized as a pioneer in the American Craft Brewing renaissance. They have 2 state-of-the-art breweries, one in Ukiah, in Mendocino County, California, and the other at Saratoga Springs, New York. The Saratoga Springs, Mendocino Brewing Company was established in 1997, and is the fourth largest brewery in New York state. brand-Old38-pourNo. 8 ranking went to the North Coast Brewing Company for there Old No. 38 Stout. This stout is rich and creamy with complex malt flavors. The North Coast Brewing Company, a pioneer in the craft beer movement, opened in 1988 as a local brewpub in the historic town of Fort Bragg, located on California’s Mendocino Coast. The North Coast Brewing Company is recognized as “One of the Ten Best Breweries in the World”, by the World Beer Championship Beverage Testing Institute. Under the leadership of brew master Mark Ruedrich, the brewery has developed a strong reputation for quality having won more than 70 awards in national and international competitions.
